Meet Regional Advisor Lisa Davis!
As you may have guessed I am an illustrator. I have not yet achieved that illusive goal of publication but am committed to the dream. I enjoy working with watercolors, acrylic, and pen and ink and am also interested in writing easy readers and Hi-Lo books in the future. I have taught art and watercolor classes for Howell Community Education, and served as the costume chairperson for the board of the Community Theatre of Howell designing costumes for many shows including Wizard of Oz and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. I enjoy creative activities of every kind. SCBWI has been a wonderful group to become acquainted with. I am very pleased to serve as your Co-Regional Advisor and am greatly looking forward to the years ahead. |
Even as a young child
I loved drawing and painting. I could be found lying on the grass
on many a sunny afternoon, pad and pencil in hand, drawing whimsical
pictures of fairies, flowers, and children.|
