Meet Ann Finkelstein!

As part of the "nonfiction coalition," I write popular science and educational games for elementary and middle school children. I am a part-time research associate in the Department of Biochemistry at MSU, and the full-time mother of two boys.

My first book, Science is Golden: a problem-solving approach to doing science with children, was published by Michigan State University Press in May 2001. None of my books for children have yet been accepted for publication, but I have my fingers crossed – except when I'm typing.

Ann served as our Co-Regional Advisor from 2003 - 2005. She and Co-RA Paula Payton soon became know as our "Wonder Twins," together, a perfect team.
