Program Description
Slides, storytelling, and readings from her works are used
to discuss character conflict, use of folktales, and sources
for story ideas. Presentations may include a look at a "dummy",
artist's proofs, "f&gs", galley sheets, and a printer's
page. Valerie strives to have each student come away with an
idea for a story of their own.
Group Size: Varies
Fees: $500 full day (one day only), $350 per day (if consecutive
days) plus mileage and expenses.
