August 21, Sunday, 2-5 PM
Shutta's Schmooze
Ann Arbor
An annual favorite of members, Shutta Crum opens her cottage and welcomes you to chat, laugh, snack and connect for three fun hours. She provides lemonade, pop, water, plates and eating utensils. You provide a dish of your choice or finger-food to pass.

If you've a new book out (or coming out), bring any galleys, f&g's –or your new book, we'd love to see it. If you've had an article or art published lately, bring the newsletter or magazine in which it appears. If you've only your smiling face to bring, that's okay. Do not underestimate the value of a broad smile.

Shutta says "Bring any give-aways you want to leave out for people to take, like old writing magazines, publisher catalogs, etc. you want to clear out of your house." And if you've any new or like new good books you'd like to donate to an underfunded, in-need library, Shutta and her family help support the Martin County Library in Kentucky, and will see that your donation reaches them.

For directions to the Schmooze, questions re book donations for the Martin County Library, contact Shutta through her website, www.shuttacrum.com.
