What’s in Store at the Fall Conference 2009?

• Learn from Loraine Joyner as she lays it on the line for illustrators.

This year’s conference is Friday, October 2 through Sunday, October 4 at Yarrow Golf and Country Club in Augusta, Michigan. This conference center is different from any other conference. Bring your golf clubs and come early to tee off for 9 holes. 

Or come early to be part of our first-ever “Play Like a Pro” session for first-time (or close-to-first-time) attendees. Lounge by the stone fireplace, find a comfy nook to write or sketch, or relax on one of the outdoor decks. 

Remember all the conferences with a no-alcohol policy? Yarrow has an on-site pub! Come on down and enjoy some of the great evening social time we have planned. 

Sitting through a day of lectures can be tough on your neck and shoulders. So we’ve come up with a clever way to combat the “office chair syndrome.” How about the “massage chair syndrome” instead? That’s right—massage therapists will be available Saturday and Sunday to provide 5-minute chair massages (for a nominal fee). Don’t fret—all clothing stays on!
