Programs for Children:
Grade PreK-12 formats include 45 minute performances, 90 minute workshops for children or professional development, and multiple day residencies.
Program Description:Writing or Storytelling presentations include: * 45 minute programs: “Performance” of stories written by Yvonne Healy; and “Young Author Programs” (performance plus demonstration of writing techniques.)
* 90-minute and multiple day workshops and residencies teach writing through “Write Out Loud” and “Kindred Keepsakes,” and oral literacy with “Storytelling Basics” and “Playing with Words.”
Group Size:
Storytelling Visits: 1,000 maximum
Writing or Storytelling Workshops: 300 maximum for“Young Author Program”
Other workshops: 50 maximum
