Program Description
Using lots of examples from her novels and picture books to illustrate her points, Christine covers idea generation, the writing process (with particular emphasis on revision), how stories get illustrated and turned into books, and what it's like to be an author, including the economics of being a writer. Christine has a fabulous imagination, but in her 20 years as a professional writer, she has never been able to imagine a better job! She loves writing –and it shows.
