Concurrent sessions. For illustrators: Story Telling Through Pictures with Wong Herbert Yee. Anyone who has read a picture book to a child knows that long before the listener can read, he or she usually follows the story through its pictures. Although illustrations usually run parallel to the text, they can also provide interesting side trips. The goal of both is to deliver a page-turning adventure, arriving hand in hand at the end. Dummies, revisions, and decisions will be discussed. |
