Programs for All Ages
Will speak to adult groups including Teacher's conferences and in-service groups. Will speak to children in schools, libraries, and bookstores. I have presentations that are appropriate for all age groups.

Program Description
My presentation varies depending on the age and the group, but mainly focuses on the craft of writing, reminding students how important it is to rewrite and revise. I use a PowerPoint presentation with many humorous examples of revision and rewriting that I have done. My presentation for picture books often includes many hands on items for students such as bear grease, bones, arrowheads, etc., since my picture books tend be historical in nature. This gives kids a "living sense" of history when they learn and discover how many of these items were used by pioneers and Native Americans.
